Field Trip: Darien Lake Theme Park

To close out the Summer session, the Rec. Dept. will be taking a field trip to Darien Lake Theme Park on Friday, August 10th. 

Reminder: Youth must be enrolled in the AM or PM REC Program to participate in this activity.

Please be sure to pre-register for this activity as space is limited, refer to the program description for more info.

The bus will depart from Akron School Main Lobby at 9:15am and return at approximately 4:45pm.

Program Description
  • The $5 registration fee for round trip bus transportation to the park is primary and required of all youth participants.
  • The $25 registration fee is secondary and is required of all youth in need of an admission ticket to the park.
  • Due to space constraints on the bus, numbers are capped as follows: youth = 51 and staff = 10 for a ratio of 5:1.
  • Youth must be registered in AM or PM Recreation to participate in this field trip.
  • Registration for field trips also begins on June 4th at 8am.
