This "Learn to Swim" Program follows the curriculum and guidelines of the American Red Cross.  With instruction, the program challenges swimmers to advance through the 6 successive skill levels.With the four central tenets of the NRD program - "SAFE"... This program focuses on: "Safety, Attitude, Fun and Education!"Simply put... Swimming is a life-long skill, so why not start now?!
 
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM    Kid-Nastics (Boys & Girls, Grades K-3) - Kid Nastics
This program provides an introduction to gymnastics for kids with an emphasis on SAFE - Safety, Attitude, Fun and Education.  Some of the activities related to this program include: balancing, climbing, jumping, rolling, tumbling, and more!

This program focuses on: Safety, Attitude, Fun and Education!

This aquatics program provides open pool time for the general public, as well as lap swimmers and self-guided water aerobic enthusiasts, under the watchful eye of NRD Lifeguards in the comforts of the ACS Pool!
 
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM    Floor Hockey (Grades 4-8) - Floor Hockey
This program provides the opportunity to run, pass, & shoot in pick-up games with friends and classmates.Rec. Dept. Attendants act as referees to control play in an effort to promote the safety of participants!
 
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM    Field Hockey (Girls, Grades 4-8) - Girl's Field Hockey (Grades 4-8)
The Field Hockey Program will be coordinated by and attended to by current/former varsity players.The program will provide skills, drills, and thrills for young ladies aiming to improve their games and, maybe one day, play modified! The NRD Field Hockey program will be held on Monday evenings from 7-8:30pm in Gym 3 (front).

Due to popular demand... Lacrosse has 2 sections:1.  Grades K-3 on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm.2.  Grades 4-8 on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm.The LAX Program, coordinated by Coach Jason Pragle, includes instruction on face-offs, passing, and shooting;and concludes with fun-filled action-packed games!

This program provides girls the chance to enhance their skills in a fun-filled atmosphere!It is for players looking to learn soccer FUNdamentals and trying to improve their abilities under the guidance of Coordinator/Coach Mr. Tiedt and Rec. Dept. Attendants. This program is for girls just starting out, with in-house experience, or limited travel experience. It is geared toward preparing players for travel and modified soccer.

This program is designed for Co-Ed Adults interested in recreational volleyball... So get ready to: Serve, Dig, Set and Spike in real game action!Please note that the beach in the attached photo is not the actual site for the program as NRD Court Volleyball will be offered in ACS Gym 3.
